I'm Greysen Walsh, an aspiring artist and creator from the South. I've got a lot of heart for video games and storytelling: I'd love to share it all with you. I'm currently looking for remote work in a team of creatives. I've worked in game development, book illustration, and freelance illustration. I love working on a team and creating an energetic environment.

My Story
I grew up in the upstate of South Carolina, deep in the country. I spent my time outside in the sun, training horses, and roaming the wilderness in search of magical lands and adventure. That same love of the outdoors has followed me to this day. I'm constantly inspired by the beauty of nature and the vibrancy of life and the sun. Located in Greenville, SC, I get all of that and more. When I'm not drawing or designing, I'm out in nature or bundled up with my kitty playing a new video game.

My work incorporates elements of gouache painting, alcohol markers, and colored pencils in a digital format. I use Procreate primarily, though I am fully certified to use Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator. When I'm trying to limit screentime, I use Tombow watercolor markers, ink pens, and oil pastels- as well as myriad paper scraps and found objects alongside.

My passion is concept art and visual development, though I'd love to dip my toes into book illustration. I would love to one day create a game from the ground up on a small scale. Inspirations for my work include Wizards of the Coast’s Dungeons and Dragons ttrpg, "Velinxi" Xiao Tong Kong, and Paleolithic Cave Art (a weird mix, but they all make me cry). I also take a lot of inspiration from 80’s fantasy movies.
